Summer Holiday

Assalamualaikum..

it's just about one month to go..before summer holidays!!
life is hectic as usual..especially with the assignments and tests..before going back to Msia insya-Allah..have to settle everything here first.. finding a house (alhamdulillah have found one)..finishing the contract with huia residence.. everyone here is counting days to go back..however, it depends on our nawaitu (intention), why do we want so much to be in msia..(it's a 3 or 4 months holiday)..

one thing for sure, we want to meet the beloved ones..mom, sister, brother, nephews, nieces, grandpa, aunts, uncles.....all of them..it's almost one year though..

nevertheless (it's the same as "however"), there's one more thing about summer holidays..wanna know what is it? here it is.............

Calling all students who are studying in New Zealand and Australia and those who WILL BE COMING to these countries,

to join the SUMMER PIT STOP!!

COME! COME! Don't miss this opportunity!

Let us make fully use of this coming summer holidays!

As Allah stated in surah Al-Asr (verses 1-3) :

1. I swear by the time,
2. Most surely man is in loss,
3. Except those who believe and do good, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience.

thankfulness

Assalamualaikum w.b.t to all readers.

ALHAMDULILLAH! ALHAMDULILLAH! ALHAMDULILLAH!

All praises are always and forever for Allah..

Without I realised, there are many good things that happen to me. Allah's promises are always true. After difficulties, there will surely be easiness......it's like, all occurrence that happened to us are the best plan that Allah has decided for us insya-Allah.

Regarding my camera that had gone missing, I have bought a new one...ALHAMDULILLAH! Allah still wants to give His prosperity to me. There is one verse in the Quran that Allah states about thankfulness. Actually, there are many, but I only remember this one for the time being.

And indeed We bestowed upon Luqmân AlHikmah (wisdom and religious understanding, etc.) saying: "Give thanks to Allâh," and whoever gives thanks, he gives thanks for (the good of) his ownself. And whoever is unthankful, then verily, Allâh is AllRich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.

Surah Luqman, verse 12

From this verse, Luqman advised his child to be thankful to Allah because the thankfulness is for the benefit of himself.

Next,

Even though I had listened to "a topic" for several times, but it never stayed in heart. It was like to listen just for the sake of listening.

ALHAMDULILLAH!

After listening to "the same topic" here in Auckland, I felt grateful to Allah for giving me another chance to listen to it again....and this time, it enters my heart. I realised that it is important to listen to something with the presence of the heart and the willingness....in order for it to really touch your heart and stay in it.

Wallahua'lam.

everything belongs to Him

Assalamualaikum.

Praise be to Allah for giving me the chance to breathe the air and live in His blessings.
Just to share that my beloved digital camera (panasonic Lumix) which i bought in february or march was gone!

I bought it in Auckland during my first months here. it is my first camera which i bought using my own money (erm..okey scholarship). it's blue in colour which is my favourite colour..makes me feel sadder.

last sunday, my friends and i went to mission bay by bus. we accompanied two friends who came from brisbane, aussie. during the journey home, we took a bus from mission bay to britomart and another bus from britomart to auckland university.

as soon as i stepped down the bus at auckland uni, i realised that my camera was not in my pocket. i started to feel anxious and nervous. i searched frantically all over my pockets (as i purposely didnt want to bring any bags). also, nothing was found in my friends' bags.

okeyh...i started to calm down..
suddenly, I remembered a drama that i'd just watched.

"no need to worry..everything belongs to Allah. He just lends us that thing. It's up to Him whenever He wants to take it back from us."

Alhamdulillah..i want to apply the same theory to my case. the camera belongs to Allah. It is His. It's up to Allah to take it back from me anytime He wants. if i give something to somebody as a lending, it is up to me when i want to take it back because that thing is mine...and that person doesnt have the right to feel angry.

but sometimes, i do feel sad because of the lost..maybe i do not grasp the theory tightly enough. however, i'm trying.....
maybe Allah wants to give me something way much better.....insya-Allah.

wassalam.

Auckland..here I am..

Salam,
I could not believe it myself....... 34 days...........yup.........more than a month in New Zealand......it felt like 2 or 3 weeks ago since we first stepped our feet on this ground.....a new chapter of my life had begun....
SURVIVING AT THE OTHER PART OF THE WORLD.....New Zealand..

first of all, apologies for those who had been waiting for a new post and thanks for never giving up.
the lectures had started two weeks ago and we are entering the third week. It was quite fascinating to learn in a new place..i mean the lecture theatres..even though we have to walk almost 20 minutes everyday (with fast and long steps of course). assignments keep pouring in and our peaceful, calm life has changed to a chaotic one..erm..maybe..bcoz we still have the time to update our fb though..it is autumn now and the weather has started to be cold..usually 17 or 18 degree celsius..and we have started to wear our jackets and cardigans to lectures. just for your info, our time here is 5 hours ahead from Malaysian time...so somtimes it is quite difficult for us to contact Malaysian people as we have to consider the time difference.
so far we had visited few places and looking forward to visit more in the future.

have to stop now..thanks for reading..

wassalam.
